Based on a true story, this is the nightmare of every childhood;
and the reason why pacts between boys are made.
Three boys are hanging out together on an October afternoon.
While walking past the Old Barbour house, they see a dummy
hanging from a rope, and start to throw rocks at it. A neighbor
chases them away, but soon after the boys come up with a
scheme to steal the dummy as a prank. And so, Scotty, the
youngest of the group, is given the task of doing this. This is his
Initiation. This plan goes terribly wrong, and as a result of this
“prank” they must make a pact, sealed by blood. They must
become True Brothers and keep this secret that binds them for
the rest of their lives.
